Once British Council of the Philippines received the EOR packet, they will send the candidate’s writing answer sheet and/or recorded interview to British Council UK for a Senior Examiner to re-mark.  The score that will be given is considered final and no appeal can be made after. The procedure takes two (2) to four (4) weeks.

If the re-mark resulted to an increase in any of the band scores, we will issue a new IELTS Test Report Form where the final scores are reflected. British Council will refund the EOR fee as a cheque payable to the candidate, provided that the original receipt is submitted to them. Processing of the refund cheque will take two (2) weeks after they receive the original receipt in the EOR packet. For security reasons, this cheque will not be encashable, but it can be deposited to any bank account under the candidate’s name.

Kindly note that if the candidate does not have a bank account in the Philippines, he/she must ensure that his/her bank in his/her home country can accept and process the cheque once received.

We hope this is helpful.
